Handling of personal information
Japan Airlines Co., Ltd. (hereafter referred to as “JAL”) will handle information registered as a member of JAL’s recruitment home page or information such as name, address, telephone number, school’s name, e-mail address or any other information that can specify individuals(hereafter referred to as “personal information”) given at each stage of employment screening as stated below.
1. JAL will use personal information for JAL group’s recruitment, JAL group’s recruitment and employment procedures.
2. JAL will take safety measures to prevent leakage of personal information etc. and will preserve and manage personal information. Information of applicants employed will be managed as employee information after entering the company and those of unemployed will be disposed and eliminated after the employment screening has finished with proper procedure.
3. Registered personal information can be modified by one’s self following the prescribed procedures.
Japan Airlines Co.，Ltd. Recruitment Homepage Member Service Agreement
Definition of JAL recruitment homepage Member Service
“JAL recruitment homepage member service” (hereafter referred to as “Member Service”) is defined as employment information that JAL gives on the internet.
The system related to this “Member Service” is operated and managed by Mynavi Corporation.
(a) A member is one who seeks employment and subscribes to register to our “Member Service” with the procedures that our company prescribes, and is approved by our company.
(b) A member can receive service of the “Member Service.”
(c) A member must agree to this membership agreement when applying. When the member uses this “Member Service” it will be considered as the member has approved this agreement.
Member ID number and Password
(a) A member will be given an ID number and has to set a password. However, if we determine that you are in conflict with ArticleⅤ, you may not be given a member ID number.
(b) A member must not transfer or lend his/her ID and password to a third person.
(c) The management of the ID number and password will be the member’s responsibility as JAL group has no liability for usage error or unauthorized use etc. of a third person.
(a) A member is to agree to changes or discontinuation of the “Member Service” by JAL group without any notice in advance.
(b) The member is to agree that the member service function may be hindered or the member service may be suspended due to circumstances such as system failure.
(c) A member is to agree to receive employment information from JAL group thorough the registered email address or personal page (My page).
Members shall not perform the following acts.
(a)To infringe other member’s, JAL group’s, or a third party’s copyright, portrait rights, or other intellectual property rights.
(b)To infringe other member’s, JAL group’s, or a third party’s property, reputation, privacy, or other human rights.
(c)To discriminate, criticize, attack, or slander and libel other members, JAL group, or a third party.
(d) Acts that hinder or may interfere with the operation of the “Member Service.”
(e) Actions that impede JAL group operations or give disadvantages.
(f) Personal solicitation, personal trading, or other business or provision of information activities for commercial purposes.
(g)The use of information obtained thorough “Member Service” beyond the scope of private use by coping, selling, publishing, or by other means.
(h) Political, election, or religious activities within the “Member Service.”
(i) Act of registering as a member based on false contents.
(j) Acts that lead to criminal acts, acts that violate public order and morals, and other acts that violate laws and regulations.
(a) A member agrees that JAL group is able to cancel the provision of member services without notifying the member in advance if it is determined that the member has violated the terms or is inappropriate as a member.
(b) JAL Group will claim damages arising from any violation of this agreement, such as when a member performs the acts of the preceding article.
Compensation for damages
JAL group shall not be liable for any damage to the member caused by the use, modification, suspension, or cancellation of the “Member Service.”
In addition, JAL group shall not be liable for any damages incurred by members or third parties through the use of “Member Services.”
(a)JAL Group will handle registered information as a member, such as name, address, telephone number, e-mail address and other information (hereinafter referred to as “personal information”) based on the following provisions.
(b)JAL group will obtain and use personal information for the next purposes.
-Personal authentication in the member service
- JAL group’s recruitment activities
- To provide employment-related information at the member service
-Improvement of the member service and operation
(c)JAL group will use personal information within the company.
(d)Members can revise their registered information (hereinafter referred to as “registered information”) in accordance with the prescribed procedures.
(e) JAL group will promptly respond to requests from members for disclosure of registered information.
(f) JAL group will discard personal information promptly after the member service ends.
Changes of terms
JAL group is able to change this agreement at anytime. The details will be announced on the Internet. After this announcement, the member will be deemed to have accepted the change when using the “Member Service”. Members who cannot approve the changes shall be unsubscribed.
This agreement will take effect on November 22, 2019.
