The successful candidate will lead research into novel opto-spintronic information devices driven by light and spin. This will involve pioneering the essential materials and control technologies necessary for developing these devices.
[Scope of changes] Overall duties according to the name and type of position in addition to the work immediately after adoption.

電子－光子量子相関の基礎とナノ光計測への応用

【雇入れ直後】
JST CREST研究領域「量⼦・古典の異分野融合による共創型フロンティアの開拓」の研究課題「電子－光子量子相関で拓く次世代電子顕微鏡」に関する研究開発に従事。
電子顕微鏡中の電子線によって励起される発光（CL）において生じる「電子と光子の間の量子もつれ」について、その生成や制御に関する基礎研究を行う。また、CLの光子相関計測により、物質内における発光励起過程を捉えられるなど新たな情報が得られることから、これを様々な発光材料へと展開・発展させ、これまでにないナノスケールでの光物性の研究を行う。
