Imaging with octave-bandwidth coherent x-rays - towards atomic spatio-temporal resolution

【雇入れ直後】
高出力(マルチTW、PW)フェムト秒レーザーを用いた広帯域コヒーレントX線源を用いた相対論的レーザープラズマ(BISER機構)におけるコヒーレントレス/回折イメージングの研究。研究には実験、理論、シミュレーションが含む。
[Immediately after adoption]
Research on coherent/diffraction imaging in relativistic laser-induced plasma (BISER mechanism) using a broadband coherent X-ray source based on high-power (multi-TW, PW) femtosecond lasers. The research encompasses experiments, theory, and simulations.

[Scope of changes] Overall duties according to the name and type of position in addition to the work immediately after adoption

（１）採用日時点において、博士号学位取得後８年以内の方。但し、外国国籍の研究者については、新規採用時において、日本の医師、診療放射線技師又は医学物理士に準じると機構が認める外国の免許、資格取得後８年以内の方であって、博士号学位取得者と同等の能力を有すると認められる方も対象とします。博士号学位取得後に労基法に定める産前産後休業、育児・介護休業法に定める育児休業又は介護休業を取得した場合は、その期間を除いて、新規採用時において、学位等取得後８年以内の者も対象とする。
（２） 高強度レーザーを用いた研究、放射線計測、またはプラズマ計測の研究の経験を有すること。
（３） コヒーレント X 線イメージングまたは X 線光学、相対論的レーザープラズマ相互作用の研究の経験がある方が望ましい。
（４） 当機構の博士研究員に在職履歴のある方は応募できません。

（１）The successful applicant will have earned a doctoral degree no more than eight years ago as of the date of adoption. However, for researchers with foreign nationality, applicants who have acquired a license or qualification from a foreign country that is recognized by QST as being equivalent to that of a Japanese physician, radiological technologist, or medical physicist no more than eight years ago and who are recognized as possessing abilities equivalent to those of a doctoral degree holder are also eligible. If applicants took maternity leave before and after childbirth as stipulated in the Labor Standards Act and/or childcare leave or caregiver leave as stipulated in the Act on Childcare Leave, Caregiver Leave, and Other Measures for the Welfare of Workers Caring for Children or Other Family Members after earning a doctoral degree, assuming they earned their degree, etc. no more than eight years ago at the time of new adoption not including the aforementioned period, they are eligible to apply as well.
（２）Experience in research using high-intensity lasers, radiation measurement, or plasma measurement is required.
（３）Experience in research on coherent X-ray imaging or X-ray optics, or on relativistic laser-plasma interactions is desirable.
（４）Persons who have a record of serving as a postdoctoral fellow at QST may not apply.

年俸制、経験・業績等により以下の区分で報酬を決定
月額３７万円、４０万円、４５万円（社会保険料及び税込み）
Compensation is determined as one of the below classifications based on annual salary, experience, achievements, and other factors.
370,000 yen, 400,000 yen, or 450,000 yen per month (including social insurance premiums and taxes)

当該年度の契約終了前の評価により、採用日から2029年3月31日を上限として再契約が可能です。
当機構で任期制身分に雇用されている場合、期間は通算して5年間を上限とします。
Depending on the employee's evaluation prior to the end of their employment agreement for the AY in question, their employment agreement may be renewed for a maximum of March 31, 2029 starting from the date of adoption.
For employees hired by QST for a term-based position, this term may be renewed for a maximum of five years in total.

Implementation Policy Concerning Voluntary Research Activities of Young Researchers Employed for Project Implementation under Competitive Research Funds Based on the agreement reached by the Inter-Ministerial Liaison Committee on Competitive Research Funds on February 12, 2020, individuals under the age of 40 (as of April 1 of the year of appointment) may be permitted, with the approval of the QST, to engage in voluntary research activities contributing to the advancement of the Project or activities enhancing research and management capabilities, up to a maximum of 20% of their effort.
