【雇入れ直後】
重粒子線治療と免疫治療の併用療法に関する生物学的基盤を確立すべく、重粒子線治療後の免疫応答性について、臨床検 体や動物モデルを用いて重粒子線治療後の免疫応答性について研究を行う。
The goal is to establish the biological basis for the combined therapy of charged particle therapy and immunotherapy. We will study the immune responses after charged partcile therapy using clinical samples and animal models.

応募資格/Application eligibility
(1)当機構の設定する研究テーマについて、その研究を主体的に遂行する意志のある方。
(2)採用日時点において、博士号学位取得後8年以内の方。但し、外国国籍の研究者については、新規採用時において、日本の医師、診療放射線技師又は医学物理士に準じると機構が認める外国の免許、資格取得後8年以内の方であって、博士号学位取得者と同等の能力を有すると認められる方も対象とします。博士号学位取得後に労基法に定める産前産後休業、育児・介護休業法に定める育児休業又は介護休業を取得した場合は、その期間を除いて、新規採用時において、学位等取得後8年以内の者も対象とする。

(1)The successful applicant will have the willingness to independently pursue research on themes set by QST.
(2)The successful applicant will have earned a doctoral degree no more than eight years ago as of the date of adoption. However, for researchers with foreign nationality, applicants who have acquired a license or qualification from a foreign country that is recognized by QST as being equivalent to that of a Japanese physician, radiological technologist, or medical physicist no more than eight years ago and who are recognized as possessing abilities equivalent to those of a doctoral degree holder are also eligible. If applicants took maternity leave before and after childbirth as stipulated in the Labor Standards Act and/or childcare leave or caregiver leave as stipulated in the Act on Childcare Leave, Caregiver Leave, and Other Measures for the Welfare of Workers Caring for Children or Other Family Members after earning a doctoral degree, assuming they earned their degree, etc. no more than eight years ago at the time of new adoption not including the aforementioned period, they are eligible to apply as well.
(3)Persons who have a record of serving as a postdoctoral fellow at QST may not apply.

神経細胞やグリア細胞など特異的に発現する機械受容体を生体脳で画像化し、脳内の恒常性維持や病態形成における役割を解明する。
実験動物ひいてはヒトの脳における特定の細胞群を、超音波刺激の最適化により自在に操作する新技術を創出する。
上記手法の脳機能ならびに脳病態への効果を、基礎と臨床の生体イメージングで比較評価し、疾患の治療に資するトランスレーショナル研究開発を推進する。

We aim to visualize mechanoreceptors specifically expressed in neurons and glial cells within the living brain, in order to elucidate their roles in maintaining brain homeostasis and in the development of pathological conditions. Our goal is to develop an innovative technology that enables precise manipulation of specific cell populations in the brains of model animals and, ultimately, humans through the optimization of ultrasound stimulation. Furthermore, we will assess the effects of these approaches on brain function and pathology using in vivo imaging techniques, thereby advancing translational research and the development of therapeutic strategies for neurological disorders.

[Immediately after adoptionadoption] In order to develop a beam source that can stably generate a high-current, high-energy negative ion beam, experimental research on a high-current negative ion beam that can be uniformly extracted from a meter-calss electrode is examined through updates of the negative ion source that enables uniform production of high-density negative ions on a large electrodes and their temperature control teqnique and the magnetic field configuration of the ion source.
